A tracker to view your patient’s progress through their treatment journey and educational resources to inform patients along the way

How VelsipityForMe supports patients prescribed Velsipity
STEP 1
Enrollment
Initiate your patient’s enrollment in VelsipityForMe for support throughout their treatment journey. Your patient will be able to log in to the VelsipityForMe patient portal as part of their enrollment and participation in the program.
STEP 2
Insurance Coverage
VelsipityForMe can assist with understanding patients’ coverage for treatment.
- Benefits investigation: Conducting a benefits investigation to determine a patient’s health insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs for treatment.
- Prior authorization (PA) assistance: We’ll coordinate with a patient’s insurer to determine the PA requirements, where and how to submit requests, and typical turnaround times. After your office submits a PA request, we’ll follow up with the insurer on behalf of the patient to track the progress and status.
- Appeals assistance: We can review the reasons for a denied claim and help with the appeals process by providing information on payer requirements.
STEP 3
Baseline Assessments
Baseline assessments for HCPs and Prescreening Tests for patients. Prior to initiating therapy with Velsipity, certain prescreening tests must be completed. If eligible, VelsipityForMe can assist with scheduling, performing, and tracking tests as selected by the patient and provider.

You can access information about Copay if you need assistance getting treatment.
STEP 5
Prescription Triage
The prescription status tracker allows patients to see when their medication was shipped to the pharmacy.
